EXAMPLE: OFF-LINE TANK INSPECTION
Leak prevention program for Petroleum, Gasoil and Petrochemical storage tanks.
By sampling drainwaters from the storage tanks and screening it on a combination of parameters: visual aspects, chemical analyses, corrosion measurements and biological analyses, a correlation between the measured data and the corrosion rate of the storage tank bottom can be established.
This allows a sheduled inspection of the tanks in the tankfarms, thus preventing unforeseen leakages
Product losses, soil and groundwater contamination and unsheduled stops are avoided.
